Do You Endure Noise

24 Hours a Day?

Tinnitus is noises in the head, not related to any
psychiatric condition. The noise

can be heard anywhere in the

head or in one or both ears.

Imagine a constant ringing, buzzing or whistling in your ears, 24 hours
a day. Some people may even hear voices. Regardless of what you hear
the condition is called tinnitus. You never get a break. It is always
there. Nobody else but you can hear the noise because it does not come
from any external source. Although you are the only person who can hear
the noise it is not a result of your imagination.
Almost all of us experience tinnitus temporarily; perhaps for a few
hours after a concert or any other occasion where our ears are
subjected to noise.
Tinnitus becomes a problem when this noise persists and/or increases.
Normally, the ringing in the ears will disappear, but it may also
become permanent.
The majority of people who suffer from tinnitus find it very disturbing
and uncomfortable.

If this is you, or you know someone who suffers like this, then you are
in the right place. My name is Carole Parker and I put this blog up
for Chris, my husband, who endured tinnitus as a very loud or extremely
loud ringing in his head for years, making it difficult, if not
impossible, for him to sleep, think, eat or work. Yet we had kids to
support and he soldiered on, but it was not easy.

We finally got his tinnitus to resolve mostly, with an amazing amount
of trial and error. so he could finally enjoy a peaceful night's
sleep, But Chris made me promise that I would find out how to tell his
story to the world so others who suffered like he had for many years
would finally have some hope.

There may not be a cure, but there is hope that your tinnitus can be
resolved just like that of Chris. It still affects him occasionally,
usually if he is not been careful enough with what he eats or he is
around a loud noise, but most nights he can sleep in peace.

It Is Affecting More Young People
Tinnitus is common in people over the age of 40, but is becoming
increasingly prevalent in younger people, as well, because of increased
daily noise levels, including those caused by the unrestrained use of
MP3s, iPods and other personal stereos. Have you ever looked in horror
at those booming cars coming down the street. Those kids are
destroying their hearing and may sufferer from tinnitus at a not too
much later date. Video arcades are known to be a real problem.

Although tinnitus is more common among people who suffer from hearing
loss, anyone can suffer from tinnitus. It is also possible to suffer
from major hearing loss without contracting tinnitus at all.

Check For Underlying Health Issues First

Tinnitus is associated with many health conditions, including high
blood pressure, Meniere's Disease, arteriosclerosis, diabetes and many
others. Resolving the health condition may resolve the tinnitus. But
if that is not the answer, then we'll be here to lend a helping ear.

Tell us your stories and let's resolve your tinnitus too.

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the Silence !
This can happen to YOU !

Carole Parker, the author, is the wife of Chris Parker, a long time
tinnitus sufferer, who often could not sleep at night because of the
ringing in his ears. Chris even found it hard at times to drive his
truck as the ringing would get really loud in the truck. Carole took
her interest in natural medicine and read widely to see if she could
find a way to resolve the problem for her husband. She read and read
in the process becoming a "Tinnitus expert". Finally through trial and
error she found a way to resolve Chris' tinnitus for good. Knowing how
painful it is for someone dealing with tinnitus, Chris insisted that
she put all her knowledge into a book and provide what she had found to
the world. He wanted to prevent others from suffering as he had for 17
painful years.
